YOU’RE NEVER ALONE 🤗

In May, we had two very special opportunities for filming On the Road to Freedom. The first with Ms. Carolyn Savelle and Pastor Nancy Dufresne in four episodes. Wow, what an amazing anointing on these two mighty women of God. And for the first time we filmed in Lake Tahoe, a location my late husband, Mylon, and I had wanted to visit together but ran out of time. I’m very thankful to have that dream come true through taping ten broadcasts for YOU. Be on the lookout for all of these powerful programs at mylon.org and our social media sites. As I focus this summer on writing, I’m in awe of how wonderful it is to serve the King of the Universe. Each day as I walk with Him, I cherish more and more my complete dependence upon Him. My late husband, Mylon, wrote his first song called, Without Him, that Elvis recorded. It’s included in most denominational hymnals and is based on John 15:5 where Jesus said, “For without Me, you can do nothing.” I love to sing that song but here’s the good news, if you belong to Jesus, you’ll never be without Him again!
Let’s always remember, THE LORD IS WITH US. Psalms 23:4 says, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” Other translations explain the valley of the shadow of death is “the valley of deepest darkness” and “the darkest valley.” Be encouraged that even in the darkest storms of life, God is with us. He is Jehovah Shammah—The LORD is There. (Ezekiel 48:35) We have the redemptive privilege of enjoying the presence of The One Who says in Matthew 28:20 “Lo, I am with you ALWAYS, even to the end of the age.” Psalm 46:10-11 says, “Be still, and know that I am God…The Lord of hosts IS WITH US.” Don’t you love it—we’re with Jehovah Shammah and…His hosts of angels! To those of you who may feel all alone: widows, orphans, singles or single parents, when you’re with Jesus, you and He are a majority. JESUS IS MORE THAN ENOUGH!
One great testimony of this truth is the story of Joseph. After being sold into slavery by his brothers (a victim of human trafficking) God’s favor promoted himin the house of Potiphar. Genesis 39:3-6 says, “And his master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD made all he did to prosper in his hand.” After being unjustly accused & thrown into prison, God’s favor promoted him. Genesis 39:21, 23 confirms, “The LORD was with Joseph and…because the LORD was with him; whatever he did, the LORD made it prosper.” After interpreting Pharaoh’s dream, he set Joseph at the age of 30, over all the land of Egypt. The only one greater in the kingdom was Pharaoh himself. It may have looked like Joseph was all alone in those trials but THE LORD WAS WITH HIM and caused him to PROSPER.
Philippians 4:13 explains why we’re never to feel lonely: we are self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency. I’m NOT talking about natural strength or a strong willpower. It’s confidence in The One Who promised, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” So let’s boldly SAY together, “The Lord is my helper, I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:5-6)
As you sow your seed this month, rejoice knowing you have a Savior Who neverleaves you to fend for yourself! So many times we’re consumed with the cares of life but His presence is with us always.
