Prince of Peace

During this Christmas season, we wanted to share with you one of our special Church on the Run daily digital devotionals. We invested 5 years to film these devotionals on our Harley rides all over the country. It is how the idea for our TV show, On the Road to Freedom, came about. This particular devotional we filmed at our home right before our annual Christmas party. It is perfect for the challenges we are facing right now in our nation.
“For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His government and its peace will never end. He will RULE with fairness and JUSTICE from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies will make this happen!” Isaiah 9:6-7 NLT
As we remember the birth of our Savior and Lord, this passage instructs us to also be encouraged that the government rests on Jesus’ shoulders and of His government, there will be NO end. No matter how things may appear, King Jesus is ruling with JUSTICE. All of Heaven’s Armies are responding to the prayers of God’s people. Stay in Faith. Righteousness will prevail!
