Prince of Peace 👑

Dear Team Mylon,

“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah‬ 9‬:6 ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

This verse in Isaiah is Mylon’s favorite Christmas scripture. As a songwriter, he thought it described the precious gift of Jesus so eloquently and I agree! Mylon and I celebrated 26 Christmas holidays together, rejoicing in the birth of The One Who set us on our road to freedom, King Jesus.

Mylon shared with me that throughout his life, most of his Christmas holidays were just another gig in a demanding tour schedule: From his parent’s group, The Le Fevres, to his Rock and Roll band and then his Christian Rock band, Broken Heart. So, when we married, he loved getting to be home for Christmas. He wanted the house decked out every year for the holidays. One year, I decided to take a break because our travel schedule had been so heavy. You’d think I was torturing him by the fuss he made all month missing those decorations! After that, I promised him I would without fail get all the holiday décor up for him to enjoy.

As I was pondering these sweet memories, I remembered the year we filmed a special Christmas greeting. It was 2020. You know—the year it looked like everything had changed in the world BUT Mylon had a word from God:

“NOTHING HAS CHANGED. God still has a good plan for our lives full of hope and a future!”

I hope you enjoyed the special Christmas video with never-before-seen “funny” footage and a special surprise from Mylon. Watching this video, it amazes me how AWESOME our God is to provide the RIGHT WORD at the RIGHT MOMENT with no expiration date. We filmed this in 2020 but the Word is just as applicable today as it was then! That’s why I don’t want you to miss the months of NEW broadcasts Mylon and I filmed together before he stepped into heaven. Jesus Christ, The Word, is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Jesus is our Prince of Peace. And when we receive Him, we can live in perfect peace no matter the circumstance. For me (and I’m sure many of you) peace is being put to the test right now. But please let me encourage you, I’m a witness—The Word works!  When we choose to be anxious for NOTHING and in EVERYTHING make our requests known to God with THANKSGIVING, the peace of God will be a guard to our heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7) God’s peace passes human understanding. When others would be freaking out and completely crumble under the fierce pressure, the spiritual FORCE OF PEACE will mount GUARD over our heart and mind.

The supernatural power of peace is why I’m able to move forward. It’s His peace that enabled me to film my first solo shows and recently minister my first Sunday morning church service without my beloved. And the great reward: the altar was filled with men and women who received healing for the brokenhearted. (Isaiah 61:1) Next month, I’ll be sharing the video from that special service with you BEFORE others see it on our broadcast. Thank you for your prayers that availed much! THANK YOU for your generous giving to our part of the kingdom. You’ll receive the same reward for every life that is changed.

As you sow your precious seed this month, this is also an opportunity to finish up the year strong with significant seed. Along with our anointed prayer team, I am standing with you and your family that King Jesus will amaze you this holiday season, proving: He is Wonderful. He is our Counselor. He is a Mighty God. He is our Everlasting Father. HE IS OUR PRINCE OF PEACE. Then Mylon would add, but we call Him…LORD. Be at peace this holiday season knowing, Jesus is Lord.
