How to Conquer Evil ♟️

October 10, 2025

Dear Team Mylon,

On September 10th, the United States of America was rocked by the assassination of American patriot, Charlie Kirk. This brave young man pointed countless youth to Christ publicly stating he wanted to be remembered for “courage for my faith.” In the wake of this horrific tragedy, we’re here for you. If you need prayer, our anointed team is ready to pray The Comfort of the Holy Spirit over you. John 12:24 promises, “I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives.” The seed of Charlie’s sacrifice as a martyr has resulted in a supernatural harvest of millions coming to Jesus as the Spirit of God is being poured out upon the earth.

Like so many of you I was shocked at this evil act but Romans 12:21 NLT reveals,“Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.” Did you get that? When everything in us wants revenge, we’re instructed to bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit, goodness. (Galatians 5:22) The definition of “goodness” is, “The disposition to DO good; good will; charitableness; the love of mankind, accompanied with a desire to promote their happiness. An act of kindness.” Webster’s 1828 Dictionary

The only way to do good in times of tragic loss, is to remember Galatians 2:20 NKJV. It was the last verse my late husband, Mylon, and I quoted together just moments before he stepped into heaven, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”‬ ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬My prayer is this devastating act emboldens us to share our faith, absolutely refusing to be ashamed of the Good News of The Gospel of Jesus Christ. To be always mindful we are crucified with Christ. For it’s NOT about us, IT’S ALL ABOUT JESUS!

Ephesians 2:10 AMPC explains our destiny is to “do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].” God defined “the good life” as doing Hispredestined good works. But in order to do the will of God, we must be willing to give our time, attention, money, etc. Acts of kindness that promote another’s happiness will always require sacrifice. I cannot overemphasize this:

The good life is NOT about getting. It’s about giving.

Acts 10:38 NLT says, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power.” Here’s what Jesus did with the anointing, He “went around DOING GOOD and healing ALL who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.” ‬‬‬‬This is so powerful. We’re called to do good like Jesus! Galatians 6:10 AMPC instructs us, “So then, as occasion and opportunity open up to us, let us DO GOOD to ALL people…Be mindful to BE a blessing, especially to those of the household of faith [those who belong to God’s family with you, the believers].”

Glory to God, I’ve preached myself happy! If you’re ready to be like Jesus and overcome evil with good, please say this with me, “Father, I forgive those who’ve sinned against me. I give mercy for I’m crucified with Christ and I no longer live but Christ lives in me. I do good like Jesus and I’m looking for ways to be a blessing today!”

As you sow your precious seed this month, rejoice knowing your gift to support leading people to Jesus IS a good work. Therefore, I believe God is working on your behalf, causing you to live the good life and everywhere you look you will see the goodness of God! Let’s decree Psalm 23:6 NKJV together, “Surely GOODNESS and mercy shall follow me ALL the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Never forget God’s goodness and mercy has your back!

May the Lord bless you and keep you,

P.S. Now more than ever we’re ministering healing to the brokenhearted. THANK YOU for your support in prayer and finances that enables us to reach them with the love of God. We have a bright future in Jesus! We’re excited about NEW things ahead and we’ll be sharing it with you in the upcoming months. Serving God is FUN!
