From Heartbreak to a Happy Ending šŸ¤—

August 1, 2024

Dear Team Mylon,

Wow, Iā€™m so incredibly thankful for all God is doing through the ministry! Last month we were back on the road and boy, we started out with a bangā€”filming broadcasts with my father in faith, Kenneth Copeland. Theyā€™re some of the most powerful programs weā€™ve ever filmed. Then a week later in Alabama we filmed 6 more programs and ministered at Church International with the Bullock Family. By the grace of God, both of these divine appointments were HUGE steps forward! Of all the things I do for Jesus, my absolute happy place is encouraging others in His Word. With all my heart THANK YOU Team Mylon for helping us to reach those who are broken. The altar call in Alabama was filled to overflowing with men and women receiving healing and restoration for their soul.

You may be thinking, ā€œChristi, being broken hearted, whatā€™s the big deal? Get over it!ā€ Weā€™ve all been thereā€”after our first teenage breakup; you think the world is coming to an end. After my husband graduated to heaven, there were people who Iā€™m sure had good intentions but basically told me to ā€œsuck it up, buttercup.ā€ When Mylon departed it felt like half my heart and half of ME in a moment were gone; 25 years of heaven on earth, suddenly over. It reminds me of a 1960ā€™s secular song, What Becomes of the Brokenhearted? Here are some of the lyrics: ā€œAs I walk this land of broken dreamsā€¦ happiness is just an illusionā€¦What becomes of the brokenhearted. Who have love that’s now departed? I know I’ve got to find some kind of peace of mind. Help me.ā€ I believe there are people praying this prayer right now. I know Iā€™ve prayed it. The song continues, ā€œI can’t stand this pain much longer. All is lost, I can see no beginning. All that’s left is an unhappy ending.ā€

I donā€™t know what youā€™ve been through but Iā€™m here to declare: GOD WANTS TO GIVE YOU A HAPPY ENDING. Praise God, His LOVE has healed my heart and made me whole-nothing missing and nothing broken. Heā€™s ready to do the same for you! Luke 4:18 explains what Jesus came to the earth to do, ā€œThe Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed.ā€ NKJV

This passage makes it clear, healing for the brokenhearted is important to God. WHY? First, itā€™s with the heart man BELIEVES. (Romans 10:10) Brokenness affects your ability to believe and trust God. Second, itā€™s out of the abundance of our heart, the mouth speaks. (Luke 6:45) Healing of your heart affects what you SAY. A healed heart talks differently than a broken one. (You read the lyrics to that song, that wasnā€™t faith!) God needs you talking faith in His Word so He can intervene in your life and the angels can get to work. (Psalms 103:20) Itā€™s how we receive EVERYTHING from God: Healing for our bodies, financial increase, and relationships restored: we believe and therefore we speak!

Think about it, how often in church is a broken heart discussed? We donā€™t even like the term, right? It reminds us of a sad love song. And Christi, isnā€™t it a lack of faith to even admit it? Well, Jesus thought it was important to discuss. He used the word, brokenhearted. We tend to think a broken heart is romance related. But a broken heart is: ā€œThose whose spirits are depressed or crushed by grief and despair.ā€ (Websterā€™s 1828 Dictionary) Yes, a broken heart can be the result of broken relationship and as in my case, a spouse moving to heaven, but it can also be from broken dreams, broken marriage/divorce, broken finances/bankruptcy, broken career/job loss or broken trust/betrayal.

In any case, we, the church, should be the ones addressing depression and the mental health crisis, not the worldā€™s secular system of psychology and medication. Psalms 1:1 says, ā€œBlessed is the man Who walks NOT in the counsel of the ungodly.ā€ Mylon used to say, ā€œYou can take all those prescriptions that start with Z and X but a drug will never get rid of the spirit of fear.ā€ The condition of the heart is spiritual, one only GOD CAN HEAL. God can use doctors, but Heā€™s anointed THE CHURCH to minister the healing ANOINTING to those who are broken. My goal is not to emphasize brokenness but to declare JESUS IS THE HEALER!Ā

Will you please consider joining me in an upcoming meeting? Iā€™d love for you to be a part of the new thing God is doing through the ministry. As you give your precious seed this month, you have a part and share reward in every heart thatā€™s healed, every marriage restored, and every dream recovered. We speak The Blessing of The Lord over your financesā€”Increasing more and more and more in 2024!

Praying for you daily and love you dearly,
