A PERFECT HEART 💛

July 1, 2022

Dear Team Mylon,

A PERFECT HEART

Is Perfection Possible?

We recently returned home from filming 9 episodes of On the Road to Freedom in Galveston Island, TX. THANK YOU Team Mylon for your faith filled prayers. The filming went awesome and we’re so excited for you to see the cool beach views! (CLICK on the Thank You Video below for a special sneak peak of upcoming shows.)

This year Kenneth Copeland, our father in the faith, prophesied that it will be a year of Correction, Direction, Protection and Perfection. In a time of prayer together (husbands and wives it’s vital you take time to pray together) God started speaking to us specifically about the subject of PERFECTION. Psalm 18:30 AMPC explains, “As for God, His way is perfect!” What are God’s instructions to us concerning perfection?

First, it’s important to understand that perfection does NOT mean we never make a mistake. I’m sure you’ve learned like us that pursuing perfection in the natural is not possible. But praise God He provided the perfect sacrifice for our sins. First Peter 1:19 says we were redeemed “with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb, without blemish and without spot.” (NKJV) Jesus is The perfect Lamb of God. He’s the only one Who’s never made a mistake!

In Matthew 5:44-46, Jesus, the perfect One, instructed us: “love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.” (NKJV) Jesus taught that unlike the world’s temperamental love that only loves those who love them, the Love of God does good for those who don’t deserve it. Verse 48 continues by admonishing us, “Be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” The Amplified Classic Version says, “…be perfect [growing into complete maturity of godliness in mind and character, having reached the proper height of virtue and integrity].”

So we see from this passage that perfection means spiritual maturity. We’re to be continually growing up in God, Who is Love. To simplify, obedience to God’s instruction to “be perfect” is all about our love walk. The good news is He does not leave us alone to accomplish this holy task, HE DOES THE PERFECTING WORK. Psalms 138:8 NKJV says, “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me.” Glory to God! Be encouraged that when you lay hold of this promise by faith, God is bringing everything into right alignment with His will, in the perfection with which He created our bodies to function, our finances to prosper and our relationships to be blessed.

God will be perfecting us right until the rapture of the church. Second Chronicles 16:9 KJV says, “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him.” In the AMPC — whose heart is blameless, in the NLT— fully committed, and in the NKJV — loyal.

God is ready to show Himself strong on your behalf! Are you ready to fully commit to Him? Will you be loyal to His Word and the work of His kingdom?

As you sow your precious seed this month, let’s declare together: “I am convinced of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in me will continue until the day of Jesus Christ developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in me!” (Philippians 1:6 AMPC)

Even in a time where it looks like economic decrease, we can be confident of a bright future because we are tithers. Our giving to The Lord means we live in a different kingdom and are not subject to this world’s system. (Malachi 3:10-11) Be encouraged that God is strengthening you today and perfecting those things which concern you. He is bringing your finances into right alignment with His perfect will: supernatural favor for abundant increase!

We love you and we are praying for you everyday,

Mylon and Christi
