A Good Testimony 🙌

Dear Team Mylon,

Glory to God, we just returned home from the most fruitful filming trip we’ve ever had! We taped 11 On the Road to Freedom broadcasts and 6 spots in sunny Los Angeles, CA. More than we can express, we THANK YOU for your faith filled prayers. (Please watch the special video we filmed just for you! Connect below.) We know it was your agreement that supernaturally strengthened us to fulfill our call. Therefore, you have the same eternal reward for every life that will be changed by these powerful shows. We also have a surprise for you: we filmed for the first time…at night! This has been on our vision list for over a year—filming at dusk with a beautiful city skyline as our backdrop. Because of your faithful giving, we now have the appropriate lighting to do so. We can’t wait for you to see the gorgeous LA lights twinkling behind us like glitter as we minister the Word. One hilarious event happened concerning a Hollywood tour bus as we were filming in the Hollywood Hills one evening—you’ll have to watch to find out. 🙂

As you know, we preached in Alabama and filmed in Los Angeles last month completely BY FAITH. The doctors said it was out of the question for us BUT GOD is faithful to perform His word for those who believe! Whatever you are facing, we want to encourage you to keep stepping out to do the impossible…by faith. It is how we obtain a good testimony.

Hebrews 11:1-2 says, “Now FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.” NKJV

The rest of this famous chapter in Hebrews refers to the “heroes of faith,” stating that “By faith Abraham” or “By faith Sarah.” In each example, these great men and women dared to believe the promise of God in what man refers to as hopeless situations. God’s promise was all the evidence they needed. Therefore, GOD SAID they obtained a good testimony. Why is this so valuable? Psalms 34:8 NKJV says, “Oh, taste and SEE that the Lord is good; BLESSED is the man who TRUSTS in Him!” Did you know you can SEE the goodness of God?

When we choose to trust Him and take Him at His Word (that’s what faith is!), we obtain a good testimony and become walking billboards of His goodness in the earth.

We are called to SHOW the world His salvation. Psalms 96:2 AMPC says, “Sing to the Lord, bless (affectionately praise) His name; SHOW forth HIS SALVATION from day to day.” The word salvation (soteria) not only includes forgiveness from sins but Strong’s Concordance says, “describes the rescue or deliverance from danger, destruction and peril. Other concepts that are inherent in soteria include restoration to a state of safety, soundness, health and well being.”

Did you notice in Psalms 96:2 what catapults our powerful testimony to the world is praise and thanksgiving? This month as we celebrate our national holiday of Thanksgiving, we want to remind you to affectionately praise the Lord, especially in circumstances that may look insurmountable. As you do, you are obtaining a good testimony in heaven and in the earth. We have a great cloud of witnesses cheering us on—May we all aspire to be inducted into the great heavenly hall of fame!

As you sow your seed this month, decree God’s glorious promise to “open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so great you can’t contain it.” (Malachi 3:10) Your obedience means you live in a different kingdom. Declare with us Isaiah 61:9 AMPC, “All who SEE me and my family will recognize and acknowledge that we are the people the Lord has blessed!” Your testimony of God’s goodness is drawing people to Him wherever you go.
