GIVE THANKS đź‘Ź

November 2, 2023

Dear Team Mylon,

GIVE THANKS

Praise the Lord, I’ve received my assignment from heaven! In upcoming months, I’ll share with you the steps God has given me to move forward. Doors have already begun to open and I’m in great expectation of all God has in store. If you live in the Nashville, TN area, please join me November 19th as this will be my first time on the road, traveling & ministering without my love. It’d be such a blessing to have a familiar face in the audience. I expect to see the goodness of God in the land of the living!

“O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” Psalms 107:1

If you heard Mylon preach through the years, you heard him decree this promise over and over again. In our decades together, Mylon’s absolute faith in the goodness of God was a rare trait that continually ministered to me. He voiced his thankfulness to the Lord all throughout the day. He started each day (and now I am doing the same!) saying, “This is the day the Lord has made. I WILL REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT!” He was in awe of God’s goodness to forgive all his sins and cleanse him of all unrighteousness. He would refer to Luke 7:47 saying, “He who has been forgiven much loves much.” I’m a witness; Mylon was a man of great love.

Of all the wonderful comments I’ve received from Mylon’s Celebration of Life service, the one that is a blessed surprise is how my video tribute to my honey ministered to so many marriages. It was supernatural how God brought that video together. I’m sure you understand that in the natural, when your spouse has just moved to heaven, it would not be possible to verbalize all your heart is processing. My fervent prayer was, “Lord, help me to honor my beloved and glorify You.” If you haven’t seen the video tribute yet, it’s available on our YouTube channel. (CLICK HERE.)

Mylon and I knew our love was a priceless treasure. He would take my hand, look me in the eyes and tenderly say, “I didn’t know a love like ours was possible. The best years of my life have been these past 25 years with you preaching the Word.” We both understood our love was ONLY possible because of the love of God abiding in us. God is Love—you have to share Him to know this great LOVE. We shared Him every day in prayer, bible studies, church services and ministering together. From the moment our friendship began, we had this in common: Jesus is our First Love. More than words can express I’m most thankful for this precious gift-

Our marriage revolved around JESUS.

So many times, we’re thankful too late: after a loved one has passed or after we lost a job, etc. This month when we celebrate our national holiday of Thanksgiving, let’s remember to BE THANKFUL RIGHT NOW for God’s provision, our family, our health, our employer, our nation, etc. We don’t want to wait until it’s too late to voice our thankfulness to God and each other. Mylon and I relished daily the opportunity to say how much we loved, appreciated and honored one another. We practiced being thankful for God’s miraculous restoration in our lives. We both are communicators, and not shy about voicing our opinions. Praise God, I told him more times than I can count how much I cherished him.

Mylon and I faithfully read the instructions in Ephesians, Chapter 5 to each other. There never was a time after speaking these anointed words that we both were not moved to tears. I would say, “Honey, I respect and reverence you. I notice you, regard you, honor you, prefer you, venerate, and esteem you; I defer to you, praise you, and love and admire you exceedingly.” He would say to me, “I love you Christi and I give my life for you as Christ does the church. I commit to wash you in the water of the Word daily. I love you as my own self.” (Ephesians 5:25-26, 33) Please let me encourage all of you reading this now to stop everything and go find your spouse. Or call, text or email your loved one and tell them how much you love and appreciate them. Don’t waste another moment. Even if you’re doing it by faith, those words of life will go to work to resurrect your relationships.

Your partnership with Mylon and me in the Gospel is a holy relationship we never take for granted. We value your seed sown each month to further God’s kingdom in the earth. Your giving is helping me to finish editing all the shows that Mylon I taped together before he went to heaven. PRAISE REPORT: We just received notice that in the month of October our viewer rate shot up by thousands of more people each show! Glory to God, Mylon would be so pleased.

As you sow your precious seed, remember God loves a cheerful giver. Just as we give financially to the work of the kingdom, another way we GIVE to the LORD is—we GIVE THANKS. Say this with me, “Lord, I give You all my life: my hopes, my dreams, my relationships, my time and my money. And Lord, with all my heart, I GIVE YOU THANKS.”

Happy Thanksgiving; I’m so thankful for you!

Love,

P.S. This month, in honor of my beloved and the gift of our marriage, I’d like to offer a special package (ORDER HERE):

  • The Honeymoon is Over, Now What? A Handbook for Holy Matrimony.
  • Mylon’s final music project, Bow Down. As you know, praise and worship are key to staying thankful.

Normally these 2 together would be $25. But this month I’d like to offer them both as a special THANK YOU for your faithful partnership, for just the price of the book, $15.00 plus shipping. With the Christmas holidays coming this is a great gift idea because there is no greater gift than the Word of God!
